Room Etiquette

The chat rooms are an opportunity for you to meet other bingo players from all over the world. Enjoy them, but use them responsibly. Here are our guidelines to room etiquette:

Respect your roomies.
We expect players to treat all members with the utmost respect. As such, offensive or threatening language will not be tolerated in our chat forums. Members who do not adhere to this will be banned from LiveFreeBingo.com. If you encounter a negative player in chat, stay calm. Do not engage in a negative or abusive conversation. Doing so will escalate the situation. Immediately contact support@livefreebingo.com noting the time, date, room and players involved in the negative activity. We will then respond appropriately. In addition, if you come across anything in chat you feel we should know about, email support@livefreebingo.com with the time, date, room and any other necessary details.

THREE STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT

STRIKE ONE: If you are found guilty of breaking the etiquette rules outlined, you will be immediately banned for ONE WEEK. You will only be allowed back onto the site following this period if you agree to abide by these rules.

STRIKE TWO: If you are found to offend for a second time at any point in the future you will be banned for TWO WEEKS. In addition, any access to the FreeBingo Forum will be removed permanently.

STRIKE THREE: Abuse our chat rules for a third time at any point in the future and you will be banned from the site PERMANENTLY.

Feel free to play in any of the bingo rooms. However, please do not 'room hop' by frequently moving from room to room. This does not increase your chances of winning in any way, and also disrupts the room and the chat for the other players.
Do not ever give out personal information (eg. your address, tel no, bank details) in a chat room.
It is important that players do not use the chat room as a platform to promote other websites. Again, players doing such will be banned from the site. Solicitation for goods or services without authorization from LiveFreeBingo.com will not be permitted. Furthermore, any player attempting to damage the reputation of our site or that of our sponsors will be subject to disciplinary action.
Please do not assume that because a player does not or cannot respond to chat, that they are being rude. The web is a global community and many people are not comfortable chatting.
Please do not make other players feel bad about being on a winning streak. Like a real bingo hall, players have good and bad runs of luck and it is unfair to the winner. Instead, use the WD quick click to congratulate your fellow player.
Chat is an 'inclusive experience'. Therefore chat should not be worded in any way as to exclude anyone else from the conversation. Examples of such chat include, but are not limited to, speaking in 'code' and speaking in any language other than English.
Players should not type solely in CAPITALS as this is reserved for CMs and VCMs only.
Please have respect for the VCM's authority. Our VCMs are there to lead the chat and play fun games. They will also help you out if you are having any problems. However, they are asked not to take sides in player arguments. We are adults and we expect our players to resolve their differences in a respectful manner.
Messages posted to chat are solely the opinion and responsibility of the person posting the message. LiveFreeBingo.com is not responsible for messages left by individuals who are not members of staff.
