How to play 75 ball bingo

75 ball is the American style of bingo. If you are completely new to the game of American 75 ball bingo, here's how to play 75 ball.

What bingo games do you offer?

All our bingo games are listed on the bingo games page. We play patterns and coverall bingo in our 75 ball rooms. We also play lots of fun chat games with CM Charlie, CM Simon and WayneH, and our VCM team.

Can I buy single cards?

No you cannot buy single cards. In the 75 ball game you can only buy sets of 6 cards.

How many sets of cards can I play each game?

You may play anything from one set (6 cards) to up to a maximum of five sets (30 cards).

How much do sets of cards cost?

Each set of 6 cards costs FB$1.00.

Do I have to daub (mark) my cards?

By default your numbers are marked off automatically. You can choose whether to dab the numbers yourself ("manual") or let the computer do it for you ("autodaub") from the options menu in the game.

What options do I have when I am playing?

You can choose whether to have the Caller's voice on or off and you can select whether you wish to dab the numbers yourself ("manual") or let the computer do it for you ("autodaub").

I can't see all my cards, how do I know which are my best cards?

Simply click on the 'Show Best Cards' button, and your cards will be rearranged into their best order, according to how many numbers are left to go. At all times the game screen displays how many numbers you are away from bingo.

How do I call bingo if I have won?

To claim your win you MUST click on the BINGO!!! button. The system will not automatically claim for you. If you miss your claim when your 'winning' number is called you can claim as soon as you notice that you have won. You will be declared a winner if no-one else has claimed before you. To help ensure that you claim on time, a message will appear on the screen saying 'You should click bingo now!'

What happens if there is a draw?

If there's more than one winner in a game, the prize is split equally between all the winners. However, it is possible for one player to have more than one winning card, and therefore they will receive a greater share of the prize.

Some of my numbers have been called, but they have not been daubed (marked). Why is this?

If you are playing in a 'patterns' bingo game, only numbers which appear in the correct squares on your bingo cards for each pattern will be daubed (marked).
